Well just by the fact it has no direct competiton for another month it should have good enough legs to pass The Matrix Reloaded wolrd wide.

Ok, we'll see whether it'll reach $742M.

Well its chances just got better since its actual numbers got adjusted up.
Well Deadpool now made more money then The Matrix and The Matrix Revolutions world wide and it still is on pace to make more money than The Matrix Revolutions also.
Deadpool is still on pace to be the highest grossing R rated movie domestically. Also Gods of Egypt bombed.
Deadpool is the most successful X-Men related film domestically, and second globally only behind Days of Future Past. Given it cost a fraction of the amount, had far less star power, was R-rated, and banned in China Deadpool's performance at the box office has been amazing.

The fact this was an after thought mirrors how little anyone seemed to care about this film. Be lucky to make half of what it cost to make and market.

Deadpool will be the highest grossing R rated movie world wide by next weekend.
Looks like X-Men: Apocalypse is off to a decent start especially overseas. Also it looks like Alice Through the Looking Glass will get nowhere near the one billion dollar mark. Which is a good thing since the first movie didn't deserve to make over a billion.
