Edge of tomorrow hasn't opened yet to majority of it's markets and I think word of mouth will be strong for it too.

But in the places it has opened in it has opened badly.

Well I was hoping that Maleficent would bomb which it didn't. Still didn't do so great overall considering it had a $180 million production budget plus they probably spend close to another $100 million in advertising it.

70m domestic isnt too great. I think they were looking for more then 150m there LTD. International will make it profitable though. Idk if I should watch it or not considering the ads lol.

Xmen and ASM continue to do well, and Neighbors probably already has a sequel or similar movie planned.

I think it will do well enough since their is a lack of children's movie until How to Train your dragon anyway and Maleficent is a good childrens fairy tale movie that children seem to really have fun watching. I watched it in imax with an audience filled with children with their parents and they all liked it.

Well the first Disney Movie that contained the character Sleeping Beauty was actually a big flop and one of the main reasons they didn't have another animated movie with a female heroine until The Little Mermaid 30 years later.

Edge of Tomorrow is not doing too good. The Fault in Our Star is doing very good and is already profitable.

Edge of tomorrow is great movie. I saw it yesterday in the chinese Theatre, too bad its struggeling right now just 10mil domestic

It's so sad Edge of Tomorrow is doing abysmally domestically. I hope word of mouth will help it at least get past 100 million there and I hope it does extremely well overseas. It was a really good movie, arguably the best this summer, yet.
