Lego still has not opened in a bunch of markets.

Yeah, you have to wait at least another two month before there is a clear picture on its overseas earnings.  Which are pretty decent so far since its closing in on $100 million.

Well I was hoping it would be a monster hit. It has the right ingredients: Lego and animated.

It pretty much is a monster hit and it still has to open in a lot of markets.  I'm pretty sure it will do very well in Germany and it doesn't open there until April the 10th.

R.I.P. Harold Ramis.
Enjoyed his movies growing up.
Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Striptes, Vacation, Analyze This, Groundhog Day, and Animal House are my favorites of his.
He was only 69.

People are getting excited about Godzilla!
I would be but it's still weird for me to see Godzilla destroying New York.
We need him to go to Japan.

What is even weirder is that Warner Brothers is the studio behind it.  Sony/Columbia would have been the obivious choice for a Godzilla reboot.  The last Godzilla movie Sony was involved in the one from 1998 actually did pretty good at the box office despite being a pretty terrible movie.

Lego Movie will mostly likely be pushed down to #3 this weekend.

What you think? Non Stop or Son of the God to rule the box office this weekend?

Non Stop looks really good. But Son of God has a potential to top the box office. Christians are going crazy over the film.
Thursday night sales. $1.2m for Son of God $720,000 for Non Stop.

I hope Non-Stop will win out I like Liam Neeson better then Jesus and if you go by viewers and critics reviews they do also. Also No-Stop will easily make more money overseas since there are more non believers now then there where ten years ago when The Passion of the Christ made a decent amount of money overseas.

I think its probably mostly evangelicals that are probably promoting it in church.  I know that Christian Bale will play the lead as Moses in Exodus and that it will also co star Aron Paul and Joel Edegton as Rasmses which is a total miss cast since he doesn't look like a Egyptian at all.  Also regardless of wheter there was a historical Jesus or not The Passion of the Christ is more historical acurate then Son of God since its in the three comonly used languages that where used in the region during that time and since it also had a slightly higher budget its probably more historically acurate in other areas also.

Frozen joins the $1B club! Congrats to Disney. The movie is still top ten on the box office after 100 days of release. Crazy. Down less than 20% from last week.

Lego Movie is still doing awesome.

Non-Stop did excellent and beat Son of God.

I don't get Son of God and why people are spending money to see it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the movie just a shortened version of the miniseries that was on T.V. last year?

Passion of the Christ was just more realistic imo.

Who played the best Jesus?  Willem Defoe

Awesome! I can't wait for it to open in Japan and earn even more!

I also hope The Wind Rises by Hayao Miyazaki earns big throughout it's release.
