Oblivion had a pretty decent opening day gross of 13 million on Friday domestically and 42's box office total surpassed its production budget.

without checking I am betting that it could be. I did not even think that Berry had it in her anymore. I thought Catwoman destroyed any chance of her having a career again.

I cant remember any other movie Berry star in and sadly she will always be remembered as that chick in the catwoman movie.

That I will admit. Some times he works. He does pretty well with Die Hard. Not sure about the new one, but that last one he did well in. I did not like that he thought of himself as invincible though, but it was good.

 

Just that smirk is getting tiresome, and ....I do not know. Maybe I just do not want to see him only playing action. I know he can do so much more. He seems to be out of money or thinking people are going to forget him because he is in everything! Even DTV movies now. Does he need to be in DTV?

Arnold is going to have to. Not much choice for him. Ofcourse, when he makes decisions like his recent movie it is hard to stay away from. An Austrian, playing a Texas Sherrif, who is the only one who can stop a maniac? The government couldn't stop them?

 

That is the thing. Willis does not have to go DTV. He is very successful.

No idea maybe he need a quick buck.

Mordred comes back once a month or so, I think Axumblade changed the OP once. I usually just post the numbers on Sunday. If I am really excited for a movies gross I will post Friday's numbers on Saturday.

Yeah the OP looks like it hasn't been changed for a while. Anyways, good to know that you post numbers. You should be posting later today, right?

I am happy with these numbers. It was more of a Summer block buster for adults, and the story was kind of recycled from other movies, but it was still pretty good. Even at 50 Tom Cruise still has it. Still...in some scenes you can see past his constant 100 million dollar plastic surgery and see how old he actually is. Seems like the right part of his face facing the screen always has a tendecy to droop, but who cares.

I do not know if I would recommend full price. Maybe go before 6 p.m or see it at the dollar show. I recommend it, but not sure if others will love it.

 

I enjoyed Oblivion as well, but the story wasn't that great as it could have been, but Tom Cruise's acting was excellent.
