But how much did Tanled make its first week? Also I think it was a surprise at how good it was. So is Wreck it , so you could be right.

Tangled  made $200 m domestically and $600 m ww.

I think Wreck it Ralph will do better than $200 m .  Tangled started on the Thanksgiving week and only made $72 in it's entire week.  Tangled was a great movie - if it had Pixar name next to it, would have made $300m.

Disney is making better CGI cartoon movies than Pixar now.

Wow! Congrats to Universal. It only cost 15 million and flight 31 million. They will do really well.

Everything but wreck it, silent hill, and cloud atlas will do well. At least Silent Hill will not disappoint much. I cannot even imagine how much Atlas needs over seas. Probably another John Carter type of thing.

Chasing mavericks and fun sis are twonsurprises. After all the family movies we have had recently you would thinknmavericks would do better. Dolphin tale and surfed girl movie.

Flight was made by Paramount.  Also going back to Wreck-It Ralph's budget even though its big its still a lot less then Tangled which had a $260 million dollar buget and adjusted for inflation its almost the same as Chicken Little and Bolt which both had a buget of $150 million.

Wreck-It Ralph made almost $10 million more then Tangled on its opening weekend.  I don't think it will make over $200 million domestically I doubt it will have strong enough legs and all the movies that crossed the $200 million dollar mark so far this year had better openings plus their will be a lot of strong competion in the next couple of weeks starting with Skyfall next week.

Nice numbers for Skyfall right there...

I just don't think it will have strong enough legs to to get close to $200 million mark too many other good movies coming out in the next couple of weeks.  I'm guessing it will end up somewhere in the 170 to 180 million dollar range domestically by the time its done.  Tangled went up against a very weak lineup of new releases in its first month on the market.  Narnia 3, The Tourist, Tron Legacy, Little Fockers and True Grid are not on the same level as Skyfall, Breaking Dawn Part 2, Lincoln and Life of Pi.  Plus its going to have animated competion in only three weeks when Rise of the Guardians opens.

I could easily only make that much.  Box office mojo in their holiday forecast has it finishing at $155.  I think they have Skyfall to low at $185 million I just have a feeling that it will easily make over $200 million dollars.

It dosen't need to make over $200 million dollars domestically to be a huge hit because it looks like it will turn a profit overseas before it will be released here on Friday but since both Madagascar 3 and The Lorax managed to make over $200 million I hope that Skyfall can do it also since its a much better movie then those two.

Skyfall at $321 million dollars overseas now. Profitable already should easily make over $600 million overseas alone.

Now Tangled is ahead by over $12 million after six days head to head.  Also should have looked at Tangled closer the only reason Wreck-It Ralph was ahead after three days is because Tangled opened on a Wednesday and it made a lot of its first weekend money on Saturday and Sunday.

Veteran's day holiday on Monday.
Schools are closed so Ralph should have a decent 4 day weekend.
Also, discount prices on Tuesday - Ralph should do well for next 5 days.

Skyfall should do $80m easy by Monday
