While the rumours sound plausable. The leak from Nintendo was supposedly that Nintendo was going to reveal the biggest 3DS title yet. Bringing out the big guns so to speak. If these rumours are all true , then Nintendo is not going to live up to the expectations of that leak. A Yoshi side scroller is not the biggest title on 3DS.

Infact its going to be pretty hard for Nintendo to put a title on 3DS bigger then OoT, MarioKart and Super Mario 3D Land. But if they can then this conference will blow Vita's TGS out of the water. Well if Nintendo can also show third party support isn't completely dead!

I'd be the happiest person ever if it turns out true.

But I want it to explain more of what happened to the PW characters, because Apollo Justice was too vague (and no Maya mention! )

It's likely going to have some emasculated theme so I'm not personally excited.

If they're going to make a new Yoshi game, damn just put a real effort into it. Yoshi's island was excellent. Now repeat plain and simple. Problem is Nintendo doesn't have the leverage for that, it would take a tremendous amount of resources to dedicate quality AAA effort to all its IPs. In that case, take the good and scrap the rest.
