I actually found it quite difficult coming up with a bonus game, took me a good 30 mins to come up with a suitable one! And i think most people didnt think of it for the same reason i didnt think of it at first...assumed it was already taken or one of the round games :)

non-gravity's choice made me check it out though just to make sure ;)

battlefield 3 pc vs. modern warfare 3 pc sales should be interesting....

I'm not sure I understand your question. You can pick you bonus game as soon as you want and need to pick it by October 1st. The first week of the game is for the sales week ending October 1st, and your bonus game will be counted towards your team's total every week of the game. So if your bonus game doesn't launch until the end of November or in December you will get 0 points from your bonus game all the weeks until it releases.

Does that answer your question?

can you change your bonus at anytime or is permanent once strated

i assume you can't free trade your bonus

Yup, I expect MW3 to sell a greater percentage of it's total sales digitally than BF3 simply because BF3 won't be available on Steam. So that's a bit of an advantage for BF VGChartz sales

Was thinking the very same thing! :P

Steam is such a powerfull platform for pc sales, was a bad move by EA.  Wasnt there ramblings about EA's games going back on steam though :? I say they will eventually find a agreement. Might not be in time for this holidays but i think both EA and Valve would like Battlefield 3 on steam just makes a whole lot of sense business wise.

@zuvuyeay, once the game starts you cannot free trade your bonus game, so you are stuck with it the entire game. You can switch it out anytime before the game starts though.

Edit: Okay, so I just have to choose my bonus game - hmm.. does the release date have to be known for it to be a suitable choice? If not, I'd choose Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright 3DS as my bonus game.

It doesn't have to have a release date yet, but if it doesn't get released this year then it wont help you during the game. You can go ahead and pick it, and if it doesn't get a release date at TGS or the other conferences then you would still have time to choose another game.
