GT5 jumped from 6,701 to 8,354.

24% boost.

Next week Platinum edition in EMEAA.

I can't understant why GT5 had a drop in Americas this week .

How many times you will ask the same question for your beloved PS3?

And how many times do I have to say the same thing?

At this point of the generation a hardware boost dosen't move sofware significantly. It happened last year with 360S and this year with Wii rice cut.

That is not a good excuse because the shipped software continues to grow (the gap shipped/vgc for software too).


The pattern is about the same. Supose we have a 40% boost in hardware onde week following a price cut, if we don't have a blockbuster game software gets a 5-10% up.

The software gains is deluted over several weeks. We have to consider people that upgrade their sistems, used games and so on.

Should be at 10K+ for a while after that. I can see 15k-20k WW weekly till the holidays.

Without Japan 12,987 this week... I can see 14k (or near) this week... Japan add 800-1200 every week.

The Platinum should put it in the range 15-20k .

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

Nice second week boost for PS3, particularly after adjustments.
3DS holds well, with a little drop after the initial two weeks boost.
Very good launch for Deus Ex.
Discount to 99€ makes Kinect enter again in the Top40's lower ranks.
