 good 3ds numbers, wii needs more games... Nintendo made a wise desicion on releasing at least a game every month, but since there is almost non third party support, the wii is not capable to keep any growing or at least maintain a good level (20K or so). I expect some good numbers in oct-nov-dec... Kirby, Zelda, mario party 9, the DQ + mario board game, and maybe something still unknown... I dunno about DQX, I guess the game is going to release on January, and maybe June/July US/EU...

Monster Hunter games in Japan almost always have great legs. I wouldn't be surprised if this does reach 800k.

Well it never actually had a price cut in Japan, it just had more added to the base system. It went from the System with 1 controller to the System with 2 controllers and WSR. It's still the same 20,000 yen price though. After the price cut the PS3 is now down to 25,000 yen.
