Call of Duty is quite big in Japan now (200-300k) so given that SquareEnix publish it they're bound to show it along its major games. As for the rest of th western games, it feels more like a way to add variety to the line-up. And western games have some progression margin in the Japanese market so there are business opportunities for SE (a bit like the way JRPGs are rising in the west > SE, NIS America).

I'm happy to learn more about KH3D but I admit this line-up is a bit disappointing. I hope there will be some huge Vita announcements!

Doesnt Matter Japan is a sinking ship atm. The TGS is basically Japan's E3 and at TGS they need to be working hard renewing interest in the diminishing style of Games and showing that they still have what it takes to compete with West. SE is a leader among this market that was complaining of its relevance a few months ago and what does it bring to TGS?. If i didnt know I would think SE was a western developer nowadays. They need to be busting out New IP's, resurrecting old ones... to get people Xxcited about SE again, a once big name ..now just shadow.

Nothing for Vita? They probably have something for it.

More garbage Mama series yay (waiting for that one guy to get defensive cuz he enjoys watching his grandma play it). However on the bright side I can say Deus Ex is a nice addition, I recently downloaded from Amazon (PC) and I am about 3ish hours in. I am impressed by how much immersion there was in a matter of minutes. It feels as part MGS part Bladerunner (little ME thrown in for good measure). Voice acting is on point so far, and graphically it's up to par (max settings on PC). Deus Ex was made by Eidos Montreal which belongs to SE so saying it's not SE is plain stupid as they have owned Eidos for quite a bit and that was a very smart move. SE needs to have it's Japanese studios focus on the Japanese games while leaving the Western style games to Eidos. KH seems promising but being on a system I'll probably never own is a downer so scratch that. However FF type 0 sparks my interest.

Square Enix are not the Japanese Gaming industry and they never were. There are mainy awesome Games coming out of Japan right now from small to medium sized developers but most are not published outside Japan.

Nobody said SE is Japanese industry but they are among the biggest of that industry and carry alot influence, and I dont need a link to imageepoch I know who they and what there making and Black Rock Shooter based off a sub par OVA is not save Japan. This isnt about 1 or 2 games but the overall health of Japanese industry which is waaaay bigger than Imageepoch can even begin to handle( no offence toward Imageepoch great developers with potential that needs to better used)
