Only select laptops pver $700 at select retailers and only if you have a college email address or college ID.  I tried to purchase one with my sons High School ID at a Best Buy and they wouldnt take it. 



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

WTF I just saw the resistance 3 commercial, and the end they say "PS3 now under 350 dollars". Why don't they say anything about 250 dollars?

Assuming you mean in comparsion to the 360; I bet if you deduct the 360 that were 'bought' via the free 360 with PC's for college, PS3 would be on top as far as home consoles go.



probably not. Just an fyi bestbuy ran out of free xbox supplies a month or two ago. Only dell.com, amazon.com, and hp.com still do the promotion. Very few people buy laptops from amazon. On dell.com I really think the free xbox should be considered false advertisment. They offer pc's with 400$ discounts and 200$ of those discounts is considered the xbox. That wouldn't be a problem except that you could buy a better computer with an actual $400 discount when you don't order an xbox for the same price. Basically you can buy the same computer for $200 cheaper if you don't accept the "free" xbox. Only hp is actually giving out a decent amount of free xboxes with no strings attached still.

Because it's an Australian TV commercial and that's how much PS3 costs there.

So, let me get this straight; according to VGChartz forum members:

- Without all the free 360's given away with PC's, 360 sales would suck! Because ANYONE here knows what percentage of US sales are part of the this promotion.
- Microsoft has to ADVERTISE in the US to get sales. Because you know, they'd MUCH RATHER have to drop the price of their system to get sales... right?

In the WORLD, the 360 sucks in Japan, is competitive, but lagging behind the PS3 in most of Europe and is highly competitive in the UK and US. Is it really that hard to understand?
