I have it on its superior console, the 360. I don't see a point in playing it on the PS3, without Mass Effect 1, it's just not the same game.

In practice, seeing how few players end up finishing a game this gen I don't think that the fact that it is a sequel on a different console should matter that much......

I bought and a cleared ME1 and ME2 several times on the 360 before the PS3 version was released. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of ME3 so I can continue the series (along with my previous ME saves) and continue the story I started in ME1.
I'll probably end up getting the PC versions as well, especially if I can get them at a low price, but there is absolutely no reason for me to get it on PS3.

dont like RPGs let alone sci fy games that take place in space, marinda lawson was about the only thing i like bout ME

yeah, got the platinum already, good luck on insanity, though the combat will be a little tougher I'd suggest you play insanity on a already beaten files so you have all your abilities and and level/character points for you and your crew. and if you have money to spare I would also buy the weapons/armor pack, will make your playthrough much more easier

My brother bought Dragon Age II for his Mac and EA offered him Mass Effect 2 for free. He knew I was interested in buying the game for the PS3 so he gave me his free PC version that I have yet to play because I still haven't finished the first one.
