Gundam Extreme Vs., Namco Bandai’s September 2010-released Gundam arcade title, is coming to PlayStation 3. This week’s Famitsu has first details on the port, which is currently 70 percent complete.

Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version, the game boasts an original mode and a background music edit mode, which allows you to use custom songs from your console’s music library. An online play mode has also been added.

Gundam Extreme Vs. will release for PlayStation 3 on December 1, 2011 in Japan, for a price of 8,380 yen.

Good to see that the PS3 is continuing to get some third party love, but I wish Namco wouldn't be so afraid of releasing Gundam games in the States this generation.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
