Forums - Sales - which will sell more in lifetime sales Super smash brawl or mario kart wii?

These 2 games are probably going to be the best selling games for wii in 2008, but which do you think will sell more in it's lifetime?

For me i think overall mario kart wii is going to beat super smash brawl by about a million because i am sure that mario kart will sell more in japan then brawl cause brawl is more of a hardcore game, but i think brawl will sell more in US then mario kart in US because it is more apealing to americans, and i think UK wil deside iy all.

Hmm, that is an interesting question. I want to say SSBB but I really think Super Mario Kart is gonna get it.

a smash bros game has never oustold any mario kart game. but brawl has a huge amount of hype surrounding it, and will probably be the best selling in the series.

i'll be safe and say MK.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl will easily hit 20,000,000. It has such an insane amount of natural hype that it's crazy. Kart will probably hit 10,000,000.

I'm gonna have to say that Mario Kart will have a wider appeal from casual to hardcore players and thus sell more. Though Brawl will come the closest that any Smash bros game ever has.

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.
