i was wondering if anyone noticed if the PS3 sales picked up at local stores?

or if theres anyone here that work at best buy or the electronic stores that see a difference in sales picking up for the playstation 3?

Sales actually dropped at my local gamestop. Apparently, consumers are upset that they can't give Sony more money.

This. Clearly.

Would you really see a change so fast after the announcement? I would wait a week or so before seeing the effect (remember that the 3DS price cut was announced a few weeks before it took effect to allow people to know about it). Also, in spite of the general consensus on this thread, from reports from amazon and gamestop, clearly ps3 sales have picked. Will be interesting to see how much the pickup is in actual fact next week.
