I'm not sure. I never played Rayman in 2D (was there Rayman in 2D) but still look back fondly on 3 and Revolution (I think... it was a long time ago, but I remember spending ages playing Rayman) so will be getting this

As for what platform, well I don't know enough about the Vita version to decide whether to get that. The one thing to consider is lack of couch co-op, but on the other hand, I don't think gameplay should be affected by being on a handheld

I played the first Rayman for PC, but just a little and i played Rayman 2 fo N64 and both were great. I`m really liking this one. Thing is i`m divided: do i buy it for Wii or 3DS? I`ll probably go with 3DS since there are other games i still want for Wii.

Because platformer games fanbase is there.

PS3/X360 are happy with LBP/digatal download titles and don't care about full package retail platformers anymore.

Speaking from a personal perspective, there don't really seem to be any. I would eat up something like Jak and Daxter on the PS3
