I was going to just say what I thought of Patcher's prediction, but I see you want my prediction too. I'll have to think about it.

But for now, I will say Patcher's predictions are too high.

August is 3 weeks not 2. And the worldwide September number looks just about right. Sales in Japan are going to be huge over the next few weeks with Monster Hunter 3rd HD releasing next week and Tales of Xillia releasing 2 weeks later. I'm thinking Japan HW could be close to 100k on those weeks. Not sure about the worldwide October sales number. Like I said here:

people are forgetting to take natural seasonality into account with their predictions.

I picked "spot on" because it's the closest to what I think....I do believe he's just a bit high but not too bad.

I think he is spot on too.

Unless we see advertising like we saw with the new slim model, I don't see PS3 selling as much as he says.

yea well last time no one saw the first week sales after the price cut coming. most people thought ps3 wouldnt even break 300k but it nearly broke 600k worldwide when the advertising didnt even start yet.

I imagin he pulled that figure out his ass.

I have no idea what price cut will do, Sony don't expect to be up much yoy (700k)
