Ok this is causing me a real headache.

I want to buy the SW that allows me to play games like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja on my 1st Gen Touch, but I need to buy this SW, Fine.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2052 (Purchase the iOS 3.1 Software Update directly from the iTunes Store.) - 'It's supposed to send me to the itunes store.

However EVERY time I click the link, it just links to me to a page to download Itunes 10, which I've already done. This is the same in firefox and IE and I have pop up blocker turned off.

Not sure if this is more Mobile or PC but I'll put it in here, any help appreciated!!

Have you tried just searching for "ios 3.1 download for ipod touch" on google?

This is one site I came up with:

I don't have a 1g ipod touch so I can't test it, but just make a back-up via itunes before installing it.
