Forums - Nintendo - Just got a 3DS

I received it as a gift for my birthday. I bought RE: The Mercenaries, and have The Legend of Zelda to play that I bought awhile back just to own it. Now, I just gotta wait until some good games actually come out for the system. Besides Zelda, you only have SSF: IV, which I already own for the PS3, and maybe Dead or Alive: Dimentions are the only decent games out right now. If you count Blaze Blue, that's still only 4. Right now I really want RE: Revelations, Paper Mario, and Luigi's Masion 2, but that's gonna be a pretty long wait. At least some good games are gonna come out this Christmas. Too bad there aren't many right now, though.

If you plan on getting Dead or Alive: Dimensions, now is the time to buy it if you wanna get and complete the dlc costumes. I got a new notification for DOA:D today and there's gonna be a third re-download of the costumes starting August 15. Here's the list for next week

8/15 - Kasumi
8/16 - Ayane
8/17 - Kokoro
8/18 - Leifang
8/19 - Tina
8/20 - Mariposa
8/21 - Hitomi

YAY!!

Plus Samurai Warriors Chronicles is lots of fun. Lots of mindless hack and slash. Sure it may be more of the same but its what I call instant gratification.

There's also Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars that is lots of fun. Then there's Link's Awakening on the eshop (don't forget to connect to the eshop TODAY at the latest to be eligible for the 20 free games). And in about 2 weeks, Devil Survivor Reloaded.

Also, you do already have a DS, right? Because if you don't, there's a huge library of games waiting for you...

Congratulations and Happy Birthday!
Can you watch 3D movies on it yet? I know Netflix was supposed to do something, but they seems to be determined to make everyone hate them.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Yeah, I already have a DS and have a ton of games for it. I don't really play it any more, though. And yeah, I really want to connect to the eShop before the 12th.

Thanks! And I haven't done anything with Netflix at all. It sounds interesting, but I don't know if you need a subcription to view the 3D trailers or not.
