At times like these, I'm ashamed to live in this here London town.

a couple of days ago, there was a stand off between an armed man and police officers in Tottenham north london, there were shots fired with a police officer getting injured, the police retaliate and kill him.

Next day, bunch of folks go out to protest against police violence. Rioters and looters take over the scene and start messing things up, few days later, the scene is spreading not only over London but outside of it as well, at times like these I have to facepalm at the double standards and stupidity of some people.

seeing the pictures it s actually getting very serious,whole apartment blocks could being going up in smoke and peoples houses,not sure what these youth have to complain about in all honestly in their designer gear,smart phones and nice pedal bikes,i hope they are all convicted but i won't hold my breath

My girlfriend was caught in some of the rioting as she works in Hackney. Bloody idiots. We should just send in the army to put them down. These kids have been taught for years about their rights but have no clue about responsibility. The police are just standing around watching whilst everything burns around them. These are people's homes and livelihoods for fuck sake.

So what is their argument? The police should have just let the guy shoot them??

I think a lot of this has gone way beyond that incident. It's not a protest but a bunch of scumy idiots raising hell for the sake of it.

Does seem a bit racist to shoot the guy just because he was black and shot at them first. Go, rioters! FOR GREAT JUSTICE!

I know right?! Eh- we should probably bury that last part because it might look bad.

Reminds me of the street riots in Paris back in the day.
