The original was crap. Button mash and hope for the best. Can't see the fun in that.

Go here and say that.

I liked the other versions so Nintendo really must be a bad ass to let Brawl suck.

Huge chance that I will like it.

I only have to finish SMG (108 stars at the moment) and then I will buy no Wii game probably till Brawl.

A faceless newb speaking...

@SeriousWB: I've been there before. I hear what you're saying...

@ Topic: I better like Brawl. I have the thing prepaid completely as of December 17th, the end of last year! :D

If you've ever played Melee extensively, you'd be anticipating it. Thats the case for me, i don't own a wii (or a gamecube) but ive played Melee at others' houses so much in multiplayer that ive been tracking it. The series' multiplayer was just awesome on the cube, and i hope it will be just as good on the wii.

Are 2000+ kills in multiplayer and nearly finished singleplayer enough to say that I have played the game a lot?

I still don't anticipate Brawl. Now bring the Wutang clan.

Ok, i see now, you don't want to anticipate it because you know youll waste so much of your life playing this game like you did with melee. Honestly if you spent so long playing multiplayer on brawl wouldn't it be somewhat exciting that you would be able to play it on Wi-fi along with other big features? Maybe im just not used to wi-fi games because im not hardcore, but still

Nintendo fan, though i also like the PS1-era Sony

Sales Predictions (+-.5mil) at end of fiscal 2007

Wii- 23 million- Brawl will hopefully make it higher.
360-20 million- GTA IV's release date will be a big factor
PS3- 12 million- Same as 360, MGS4 also big factor

Nah, you haven't played extensively until your KO count is over 9000!  In all seriousness, fighting games just don't appeal to some people.  I know I'm looking forward to it.

I was forced to play the game because Double Dash!! wasn't released for such a long time. One and a half year of Melee until people finally wanted to play something else frequently.

Personally I prefer local multiplayer any day over online gaming, so a game having online features hardly affects my buying decisions or desire to play a game.

How many people told you to "Get a life" in that time period?
