Sadly I agree with Team Meat, and to be honest I think it's amazingly refreshing to see someone willing to tell it like it is rather than beat around the bush and kiss ass and worry about corporate image. WE need more people like Team Meat, and for that reason I think I'm gonna go buy Super Meat Boy right now!

That said, I have a Wii, I have a PS Move, and I plan on getting a Kinect, but the fact remains: there's NOTHING of value that requires motion controls. yeah, I thought Disc Golf on Sports Champions was good, and I enjoyed every second of Wii Bowling...but that's about it. I'm all for motion controls, it's just a shame that it seems no developer is really capable of using them to their fullest potential. Hell, I hate to say it, but Sony's got the right idea: I like playing Killzone and LittleBigPlanet and Heavy Rain with the PS Move...I still prefer the controller but the fact remains, its nice to see core games using it properly.

It does the same thing the Wii does, only worse.

Seems to me that tracking up to 48 points on a person's body is better than just 2.

Dance Central > Just Dance for example

It loses out with lag.

And your example, I think, is the only one that holds up. Everything else the Wii is more natural in. Wii Sports, for example.

There is no lag in Dance Central...

Also, pretty much any sports and fitness title on Kinect > on Wii.

Even though I agree with what they are saying the way they are saying it is in bad taste. They are stating their opinion as if its a fact.

I think it's more that they were making a statment.  when you predict the future like that, it can't be seen as fact.  As it stands, though, he's right.  it is a fact.

Of course it's a joke, camera's suck as game controllers, always will, kinect will do more for each other use of a 3D camera then it does for motion controls

The problem is his statement assumes to speak for everybody that does or will ever own a kinect. Saying that there is/and never will be anything worthwile on kinect is a very subjective statement. If he was stating all of this from his perspective it wouldn't be a problem but it sounds like hes speaking for everyone. I hate motion control gaming. I also hate social and mobile gaming but who am I to say that nobody is enjoying those games that look worthless to me?

He needs to speak for himself. Thats my only issue with what he is saying.

Super Meat Boy pretty much proves that they are good devs so I don't know where that came from. People tend to forget that Kinect is a camera, no matter how advanced people might say it is, it's still just a stand alone camera device, now, if the 360 can work with say, 4 of them around you wirelessly at a higher resolution, then that'd be a total game changer, but a.) 360 can't handle that and b.) cost would be a bitch.
