The 3DS outsold the full lifetime sales of the virtual boy by a factor of 1.5 in it's first week of tracking. Stop comparing the Virtual Boy to the 3DS. All it does is make you appear to know less about console sales, and please, this is a sales site, do not say anything that can be so easily shown to be incorrect.
If you wish to compare the 3DS to the Gamecube, PS3, Wii, DS etc, all of these are still possible at this point. But it is not the virtual boy.
