“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

While I agree it's stupid to assume the US and Canada are alone in calling it soccer, it is usually referred to as football in most of the places it is played. The game, and even the word 'soccer' were invented in England, and we call it football. (The word 'soccer' comes from the full name of the sport: Association football)

For some reason I cannot post pictures anymore here that are too big. Bull crap! There is the link though, not too funny, but cool.

Have you tried clicking the resolution boxes (so that their numbers pop up) before posting the images?

I have no idea what a resolution box is. Probably why people can hardly get in my threads. How do I go about doing this? Mr. 1?

Hmm, I may have used the wrong word for it since it says "Dimensions" right next to the boxes.

Depends how you put pics into the forum.

If you:
 - search online
 - copy the image location (not the image itself but the direct link to the image)
 - click the insert/edit image button in the rich text editor
 - paste the image link in

Then below where you pasted the image link there is a box to give it a title, and two boxes to give the dimensions of the image, if you press tab after pasting the image link, or click in one of the boxes it will show you how big the image is in pixels, you can adjust this if needed.

I am not sure what trouble you could be having with large images for the above method though, unless they are so large as to overstep some kind of limit ioi has put on image dimensions (doubt it though unless you are trying to post a giant longcat)

Perhaps you are doing this instead:
 - search online
 - copy image
 - paste image

Doing it that way is embedding the image code directly into the forum, which might be ok for small file sizes but it will be quite a memory hog, so something large like the long ones THE1 posted might not load.

@IIIIITHE1IIIII : Amazing post!

But when I studied engineering, we more than one number in our formulas

You almost got me with the Acula one, I had to read it twice, but I fail with "Go to Australia. Locate 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney."

Can someone tell me where is the joke?
