The gap is around 7.3 and Nintendo expect to get that down to 2.3 end of March 2012.

Even though PS2 is showing incredible legs Sony only expect 4 mill this entire FY, which indicates it's going to be 1-3 mill FY13. DS has gone from shipping 17 million last FY to an expected 9 this year, that's almost half. If 3DS really takes off will DS sales plummet enough for PS2 to maintain the lead, and both die at a similar time?

Sony are mindless with their PS2 projections. They always beat them. With how much they shipped this quarter they'll probably ship over 5 million for the FY. And I'm starting to think the DS might never pass the PS2.

155.19m? I guess the number was 152.3m shipped for PS2.

Do Sony ever adjust? Or do they wait till the end of the FY to reveal if they've made/surpassed forecasts?

They adjusted down the PSP projection last year I guess.

Well, considering 3DS price gap to the DS is going down, it might never happen.
