Currently:
DS - 147.86
PS2 - 155.19
Both shipped around 1.4 this Q but that isn't indicative of what's espected over next 3 Q's, Nintendo expect another 7.6M DS up to March 2012 (but they did just adjust it down 2 million) and Sony expect only 2.6 million PS2s
The gap is around 7.3 and Nintendo expect to get that down to 2.3 end of March 2012.
Even though PS2 is showing incredible legs Sony only expect 4 mill this entire FY, which indicates it's going to be 1-3 mill FY13. DS has gone from shipping 17 million last FY to an expected 9 this year, that's almost half. If 3DS really takes off will DS sales plummet enough for PS2 to maintain the lead, and both die at a similar time?
