16 million for the 11/12 year? Well i suppose they're gonna wait until end of 3rd quarter to revise their numbers a little.

Wow this gets better and better doesn't it?

Man, I knew 3DS would win this but even I didn't think it would be by this much.  And we still have the rest of the holidays and two/three full months after that (Japan/everywhere else, respectively) until 3DS' one year anniversary.

Whether the 3DS can keep up the dominance over DS in the years to come or not, this still shows that all of those clowns in the mainstream media that cried "Doomed" or "Nobody wants the 3DS" are clueless.

Both 3DS and DS had an increase. The DS also had some new releases that came out.

DS on its 43rd week 3DS on its 43rd week
131,157(+21%) 1,490,572(+15%)

The 3DS outsold the DS by +1,359,415

*DS numbers are from September 17th 2005

DS by 43 weeks 3DS by 43 weeks
7,047,625 12,492,038

3DS outsells DS by +5,444,413

One more week of +1 million week. That means when all said of done the 3DS will destroy the DS two to one

3DS could hit 14 million next week. Those are some pretty big numbers.
