I know, that's annoying, I just kept clicking "find lobby" and then exiting and eventually it would say "reserved space" or something like that, meaning you can enter a game.

No, I never had a problem with that. I could always get a space and it would say "Joining Game" then the small window would pop up saying "Launching Battlefield 3 Alpha" and then it would disappear and nothing would load.

Now today I can't even get http://battlelog.battlefield.com/ to load...

Just tried it now, I can't get in either.

The web based launcher was a stupid decision, what was the point of it?

I had the same problem I now load from a hyperlink in Chrome it just does not work with IE9 for me and does the exact same thing. Having said that it was no picnic getting the game plugin to load on Chrome either.

Update: The website appears to be down or not resolving for me worked fine yesterday so must be a glitch.

Update again: I wonder if this message on the Battlefield 3 Alpha website helps explain it.

Well I'm veteran level 3 which is what I believe they require.

Hopefully I could possibly get in on the next round.

I had tried everything. Chrome, IE 9, Firefox 5, etc. Nothing ever worked. Just saw that message today as well after having the battlelog website not work for the last few days. Looks like the Alpha is over just 2 days after I got my invite, and I didn't even get to play a single round...
