Sorry, that makes no sense.
If Snake Eater 3DS is supposed to sell for full price, then it needs to be released before the HD collection, not afterwards. Once the HD collection is out, Snake Eater 3DS is pretty much obsolete.

wait you expected this whole ordeal which includes a 3rd party and ninty to make sense? oh dear Rol :P what's wrong with you?

Even if it were to release before the HD collection it doesnt help that people already know the HD is coming soon. Its not like people wont wait a month to get what is essentially a better deal

Which suggests that Konami wanted to set this game up for a cancelation. If they actually wanted to sell the 3DS version, then they wouldn't have announced the HD collection.

That's true, but wouldnt that just piss off the multi console owners??? If i were to buy MGS3D just to find out shortly after that they are releasing the game again with TWO other games for the same price, I'd be piss. It does suck the way the 3DS version is being treated and thats the truth. It started out being a remake running on the Peace Walker engine, only to find out it's just a port. I think Konami is just cutting back and they figure their might be a bigger audience for MGS on the HDs and its cheaper since it looks like these are straight ports. I think this is one of the reasons why Kojima doesnt like whats going down. It blows, but what are we going to do?
