I own AC brotherhood on the 360 and AC2 on the PS3 and surprisingly I got brotherhood first. I wanted to know more about the story so I downloaded AC2 of PS Store and I actually find it better. The controls are meant for the PS3 version but not only that the missions aren't as repetitive , the story is better e.t.c. AC brotherhood did feel like a very large expainsion with MP to AC2 though. Although I'm still playing AC2 I have to say it's so far better except for the MP part.

I'd say single-player wise, ACII was better than Brotherhood. But that's just my opinion though.

The story is better in AC2 (obviously) but the actual gameplay isn't, there is more variety and options in Brotherhood and that is set to evolve, particularly the management of your assassins.

Umm look at the thread title first. In terms of gameplay they are all great one of the best franiches I've ever played. But I gotta admit in some ways AC brotherhood was a downplay compared to AC2. The story is better in AC2 and it is also much longer. And in brotherhood some of the missions are just too repetitive. I like the multiplayer component it is just mindblowing. Although it does get repetitive and easy after a while. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing an AC2 expansion. But they are both great games both in my top 10 games this gen but brotherhood didn't live up to what AC2 did for the AC series. But we are talking about sales here no gameplay

Only the true fans of AC will buy this game. Ubisoft needs to stop milking with the side stories and just make them DLC before the people notice.

I think its gonnna for sure outsell Brotherhood but I don't know if it can match Creed 1 or 2.

And you need to fix your OP Uncharted is not a bigger series than Creed is. It may be bigger on the PS3 and that's fine just put individual sku because saying Uncharted is a bigger series is just straight up factually false.

yeah I meant to say indivusal sku I'll add that

AC is bigger because its multiplatform. Uncharted is a game which we'll never truly know how big it could get if it was.

Let me just explain this once and for all as it seems people are all to keen to jump on me for my reading comprehension without actually reading the thread first...

Please understand me when I say, I did indeed read both the thread title and every single post.

1. I wrote "I assume you mean sales?" - This was quite clearly a question to prefix my comments that followed to stop the comments I've recieved.

2.  I wrote " In terms of gameplay Brotherhood was superior and I think Revelations will be even better yet."  - This was a expression of my opinion regarding the contrary viewpoint if he did indeed mean gameplay.

3.  The first two sentences are relevant as you and another poster had taken the conversation off topic immediately before his post, from talking sales to talking about gameplay, he then posted a few words that could be taken in any context.  This is why I queried his post.

4.  I still haven't received a answer from the original poster so you guys are actually assuming he is just answering the thread title and not read the 2 pages and posted in reply to your posts.  Either way whichever it is, you should be harrassing the other guy for his frankly unclear posts and not the poster who politely queried him in the first instance.

I do not include the story in my analysis of gameplay by the way as it isn't anything to do with gameplay imo.  Gamplay is the actual interactions with the game itself and the only relevance the story has on gameplay is if it produces a sufficient reward structure for the gameplay which I personally don't think it does in the case of Assassins Creed.  I was referencing all the extra things they added such as parachutes, the assassin brotherhood, new weaponry, different quest types.  I understand how someone could still prefer the gameplay of AC2 as not everything always works for some people as you add more complexity but to me they added to the game and didn't detract.
