Great list. But PS3 published way more than 360. But 360 excluisves had plenty of hype the PS3 didn't

Not true. In fact, I would argue the opposite. PS3 exclusives had more hype, because I don't remember the 360 getting its own chalkboard.

Didn't uncharted and LBP help turn the ps3 around, why are they crossed out?

I suppose because they didn't really help. Keep in mind that I didn't make this chalkboard.

I would say the real turning point for the PS3 has been the launch of the Slim, from then on out the doomsaying really stopped.

well as made clear by the chartz, no one game is responsible for the ps3s current sucess, the silm is just the most obvious turning point but without the good games before it wouldn't of went so well

No, we should not. All companies should only ever be blamed for their very own incontinence.

......

I believe you quoted the wrong person.

omg I nnoticed something. If you count the top 40 PS3 excluisves (the same amount the 360 has) the PS3 exclisves become 72.4 million for the PS3 and 72.4 million for the 360. So there already ahead. That means all those extra 39 exclusives were a complete waste of money.

I hope you aren't serious (it's hard to say for sure in this instance), because 39 exclusives being a complete waste of money only means that Microsoft's strategy is indeed superior.

I'm always serious. The 39 games weren't a complete waste of money because many of the games:
- are still selling and will become profitable in the future.
- sold in majority through Downloaded sales are profitable.
- weren't high-budget games to begin with, so are still profitable.

Now, I'm not going to check the list to back up my claims. So far I've just glanced at the 39 games, and I'm quite confident in assuming that most of them were profitable. So much so that their profits outweigh the few failures found on the lists. That would mean those 39 games as a whole actually makes Sony's list even more impressive.

- I'm not good at this stuff. You don't have to respond to this crap if you don't want to.

these lists are ridiculous because they are always bent so the console of the threadstarter's choice wins.

How does it make sense to include sports champions America sales which are all bundles and not Kinect Adventures.

Here's how I can spin it to make the 360 the winning console.

It doesn't make sense to not include the original xbox 360 titles before the ps3 came out since all those people who bought 360 games before the ps3 came out are less likely to buy more games afterwards. Remember the average gamer only buys 9 games for their console total... or even just make it the first 5.5 years or however long the ps3 has been out for both systems which would be the most fair. but then again, 360 might have won if we did that, and this thread wouldn't have been made by you at all if the 360 would have been shown favorably.

Then again maybe I should make a thread showing off how since the xbox 360 has been released, its exclusives have outsold all ps2 exclusives that came out after the 360 was released, meaning xbox 360 exclusives sell better?

Only every copy sports champions isn't bundled, and you can buy move without buying sports champions anywhere in the world, if you have the exact amount of sales which are due to bundles for it then I'll take that many out, and if you honestly believe 10 mil people would buy kinect adventures then you are simply deluded, and ps2 isn't a current gen console how is doing it in the same time frame not fair?
