Wii & DS did great like usual.

PS3 did exceptional IMO. With Japan #'s the ps3 will outsell the 360 by 100,000 this week. That is definitely outside the +/- 10% margin of error.

360 probably had a large drop in NA due to supply constraints; however, Best Buy did have plenty the other day when I was there. Still not a bad showing though.

PSP will do great in Japan this week because of Star Ocean I'm sure.

Overall, great sales for everybody post-Christmas.

 (Not to get into the PC vs. Console argument, but I have a top of the line PC too...and I still MUCH PREFER playing games on my ps3 and 360 over my pc)...Just my opinion...a pc can't touch the feeling of playing on a 60" 1080p tv while lounging on a couch with a remote.



Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

Trust me I seen both the ps3 and the xbox360 and they suck If a compare them to my 8800 gtx.

I got a wii and a pc more I don't need. So for me the ps3 and the xbox360 is nothing compared to that combo.

In that my pc and my wii got the best lineup.

For the record: I buy a new pc every 4 to 5 years but it's a topline pc which will still beat out every console for years. Next to that online play is so much better on a pc as well as controle.

Im getting tired of PC GAMERS bringing out specs and how pc is so much better than PS3, "OH THE GRAPHICS CARD IS BETTER" , " more ram ahah" I dont give a $hita bout that when the PS3 has something the PC cant compare to at all and thats the CELL, A CPU so freakin advanced that it can actually improve the quality in graphics. Sony isnt stupid they know what they did with the ps3, the pc is $hit compared to the PS3's CPU. Line up of games? What a port of halo? Pathetic shooters? The pc market is going to die faster than the dreamcast.

 


The cell that's your key answer ? do you even know what a cpu is. or what it is ment to do.

Really dude you know that the cell is already outclassed in the pc fields . They laugh at the 7 spe's now

Next to that the cell is so hard to develop for that they can't even use all it's power 

Next year you can already buy 8 spe's cpu's. So your cell is already outclassed by the pc next year.

The pc market can not die.  

Compare cod 4 ps3 to the pc version on 1920x1080 with everything highres I was crying when I seen the ps3 version.

Considering we are getting a good deal on the PS3 and you guys are playing $100 more then what the Wii costs to make looks like you guys are getting screwed. Plus we have better games.

Also a good deal involves getting something worthwhile, so far PS3 is a mediocre games machine, and is busy pushing a medium which no one cares about and will likely be obsolete soon

Yes some wii owners are getting to confrontational but Leo-J does say alot of stipid things like the think about HUS and the Cell. Don't get me wrong im sure its very powerful and possibly more powerful than the xbox 360 but the pc. Come On.

The PS3 owners are the ones claiming Sony domination will continue with only a 60k difference and that the Wii is at an end.

The Wii owners are merely responding to the overzealous cheerleading that's being voiced in seven some threads simultaneously. Don't call foul on us, we're the ones keeping reality in check here.

It's almost comical seeing how cocky Leo-J has become with such a marginal victory for the PS3 still comming off the holiday high.
