While I can't fault Capcom for canceling a game in general, the reasoning they use to make these decisions seems very poor ... As we've seen time and time again, interest in a product online and in store are two very different things.

I am soooo shocked by this. Just one more reason to be done with this hobby for a while.

I lost respect for capcom long ago, i'm not surprised by anything they say or do.

I really don't think this is the actual reason at all. They just don't want to blame Inafune (which i'd totally do, given how much he's badmouthed Japanese gaming in general)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Wow how freaking pathetic. Did they seriously cancel a game because not enough people joined a forum? I bet you most people have never even heard of that forum I know this is the first time I've ever heard of it and I play tons of Capcom games.

MML3 was started because of of huge fan damand on sites like Capcom-Unity, where fans can used a suggestion box to put forth wants, MML3 was top of it since the beginning almost, then the devroom happens and numbers are extremely low in comparison, since evendently the suggestion box was filled with alt accounts.  Fans got it started with a lie and got it ended with truth.  They set themseles up, sucks for the honest ones but there aren't many apparently.

I disagree. I would go as far as telling them what game I'd like to see, but I am not going to go that far as to constantly hang around the forums and talk about development and such. I would rather spend my time playing games.

Blaming  someone that no longer works for Capcom and didn't work for he company when MML3 started development? Even Capcom isn't that stupid.
