Well I did a lot of things when I was in HS that I am not proud of but to go for a more recent incident.

About 2 years ago my girlfriend and I went to Chicago, about a 45 mile trip, to go bar hoping with some friends. After bouncing around a few bars we settled at one and were there for an hour or so. It started getting really late, about 1 AM and everyone else had already headed home. While we were there I happened to run into an ex-girlfriend of mine form HS, approx. 10 years had passed since I had last seen her, 12 since I actually dated her. While we were catching up, my girlfriend starting to get agitated. So after she left I got an earful about the encounter, saying that I was flirting with her and showed her no respect, and blah blah blah. Then she compared me to her ex boyfriend, saying that I was treating her as bad as he used to, which is where I lost it. Why is this a problem? Her ex used to beat her all the time, both physically and emotionally. And is basically one of the biggest scumbags on the planet. She even got a restraining order put on him. So I said its time to go I will take care of the bill, after I paid for the bill she said she had to use the restroom. Which is where I left her ass, at about 2 AM in the morning, with no way to get home other than to call someone to pick her up. I wasn't 10 mins down the road when she called looking for me, and she continued to call for 20 mins before I finally picked up, I never listened to a word she said, just told her I was on my way home and she would need to find her own ride home and then I hung up. She got home at around 5AM. Nothing happened to her and I don't know how I would have felt if something did, but at the time I didn't care. We didn't talk to each other for a week but we did get back together, but it didn't last long.

Well done man, sometimes you have to be mean to make your point

This isn't that bad though. I mean, you could've been the bigger man, but you were definately provoked. You didn't do it out of pure evilness like some of the other pepople on this forum.

Why is this a mean thing? It's quite the opposite, unless she asked you whether she should go audition for a modeling gig, and you said that so she'd go and make a fool of herslef.

I once purposefully made my brother trip and fall on the street while he was running when we were kids (I'm 4 years older), which I remember to this day with a guilty feeling.

I think I felt even guiltier because he was not mad at me. So innocent, which made me feel even guiltier.

Once I also wrote dirty poems with a friend, and gave them to some girl who had a crush on one of us (I forget which), and who was apparently mentally retarded... We were like 13 years old or something. She probably didn't understand them so showed them to her mother, who came to the school to talk to the authors. I didn't admit it was also me, letting my friend talk to her alone. I think I was mostly afraid of my parents finding out.

When I was 6 years old I threw a rock at a kid and busted his head. Wanna know why?

yea sure..why?

He wouldn't share his candies with me.

I done something similar. :( I would say my reasons were worse. I hit kid about 2 or 3 years younger than me over the head with a wooden pole. why, well I didn't like him. :( i was about 8 but that is hardly an excuse especially not if the kid was 5 or 6. he got stiches and nothing else was said.

kind of wish I hadnt got away with doing something like that, maybe people knew it would scar me enough knowing what I had done.

the only other thing that was mean that me and my friends did was a game called rap the door and run away.  guess I didnt see what was wrong with it until a few of the older neighbours lost there tempor. I think my friends at the time new it was wrong but they thought it was fun annoying people. I kind of stopped going out with them shortly after, I had friends at my caravan and eventually got new friends at home, back to being friends with them now though but its a good decade later they are more mature, they grow up.

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).
