Forums - Gaming - Most hated game of 2007

Ones that I bought: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. I though the point of the game was that you were part of a team, then they dump you on your own for long periods. I appreciate that it is a great game, it just was not for me

It's a toss-up between Lair and Sonic Rush Adventure. I really hate the minigames in both of those titles (especially the travelling portions of SRA).

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

Mario Party 8 for me. I played that game like only two times before I just stopped completely.

Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Predictions:

Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!

I really didn't like Alien Syndrome for the Wii.  I can't think of too many games as boring or repetitive as that one.  Calling All Cars would be the runner up.

Madden

Because its the same damn thing as madden 95

N/A and Zelda PH pwns!

It was a solid game, but it was way too short and i dunno about everyone else, but i had almost ZERO challenge on ANYTHING outside of a single floor in the Temple of the Ocean King. Making notes on your map felt tedious, since EVERY SINGLE NOTE you needed to make was spelled out to you in such obvious detail it was impossible to miss. The controls were better than I expected, but hardly perfect (could I PLEASE be able to throw my boomerang without having my feet super glued to the floor?) The innovative features were nice ideas, such as using the mic to blow out candles and closing the DS that one time, but they were used so absolutely rarely that it felt gimmicky.

Maybe I've just gotten too used to the Zelda universe and how to recognize the puzzles, but this game just felt entirely dumbed down. I did enjoy the one scene from the first time you get on the ghost ship, but that came out totally obvious as well. Link to the Past's Blind anyone?

Have to agree with you on Zelda: PH being dissapointing. Lack of difficulty, most dungeons looking incredibly similar, and the billion trips into the temple of the ocean king make it difficult to motivate myself to play it at the moment. Along with Blind, beams coming out of your sword are another throwback to LttP and i'm pretty sure there are others also.

Final Fantasy XII was another let down for myself. So many load times, a poor lead character, and an uninspired story which even the developers admitted to being below par. I'm hoping that their best people had already moved onto FFXIII whilst this was in development.

Note, these games aren't rubbish, they're just not up to the standards set by these franchises in the past.

Baked to perfection.
