Simple, do you think the next call of duty will sell less than it's games before, I have noticed this year that there is a lot more hate for this franchise than there was last year, and with Battlefield 3 showing how a game should progress/visually throughout it's series rather than repeating the same old stuff I think some COD fans are feeling a little cheated/fool for falling for the hype and buying the last on
just going to throw in some COD sales from previous games
Call of duty: Finest hour (ps2) 2.81 million
Call of duty: Finest hour (xbox) 1.17 million 1.64 million gap (ps2)
Call of duty 2:Big red one (ps2)2:38 million
Call of dity 2:Big red one(Xbox) 1.14 million 1.21 million gap (ps2)
Call of duty 3 (ps3) 1.26 million <--------- (Notice the switcheroo in sales/platform preference)
Call of duty 3 (x360) 2.59 million 1.33 million gap (x360)
Call of duty 4 modern warfare (ps3) 5.69 million 2.83 million gap (x360)
Call of duty 4 modern warfare(x360)8.52 million
Call of duty: world at war (ps3) 4.54 million (ps2) 1.50 million 2.08 million gap (x360)
Call of duty; World at war(X360) 6.62 million
Call of duty;MW2 (ps3) 9.21 million 3.3 million gap (x360)
Call of duty; MW2 (X360) 12.51 million
Call of duty black ops (ps3) 10.33 million 2.4 million gap (x360)
call of duty black ops (x360) 12.73 million
Call of duty MW3????? I think it may sell less as i have seen a lot more hate on the franchise now, or could it backfire and just give the game more publicity
