Forums - Nintendo - What do you wanna see/ don't wanna see on the next Pikmin?

I would like it to be almost exactly the same as Pikmin 2 but longer.
I keep hearing people say that this game is too hard but to me it was perfect.
The new pikmin should have,
Loads more treasures.
Maybe the ability to have more than 100 pikmin out at the same time, about 150.
Same enemies as Pikmin 2 but loads of new ones.
More magical.
More overworld settings (maybe some set indoors, like in a house or dog kennel) and more caves.

Wii U Nintendo Network ID, Borode

XBOX Live ID, Borode

Online Co-op

The ability to have maximum or 120 or maybe 150 pikmin out at one time

No stupid game time limit - for me this condemned Pikmin 1 to being a 'good but not great game'

Little King's Story style formations - line would be usefull over narrow bridges for example

Region map and clock on controller screen

Maybe launch a Pikmin collection, similar to GoW - would be perfect oppotunity to launch NPC Pikmin 2 in the US

Be on WiiU - I don't care what other people think, Zelda SS, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story should all keep my Wii occupied until WiiU launches.

i wanna see it on Wii n not Wii U (unless its multiplat)

weather you want it on Wii U or not they have already said it is going to be on it.

As for co-op it would work very well as one player could use the U-pad and the other the TV screen while using the Wiimote + nun chuck.

True, but im not in the buisness of buying a console for one game. Especially when that game, by all rights should have been released on a console i already bought, but WTH

I had a ton of free time after my exam today, so I replayed NPC Pikmin 1 for the first time in a while... It's still brilliant, which makes me sad about Pikmin 3 jumping ship like that...

I honestly have a difficult time believing Nintendo are in the business of selling software above hardware...

edit: Also, I forgot to say I give this thread a 10/10 for making me go back and replay Pikmin!!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

What I want:

1) A time limit that also doesn't stop when going underground. Make it possible to create more and more safe zones as you progress, so that you can run around with your Pikmin on the surface during night.

I dunno, the time limit was kinda cool in Pikmin 1, I mean, I wouldn't change it at all, but feeling free in Pikmin 2 was nice too, I did it in 31 days (lol).

It made Pikmin 2 lame. Well, this and the randomly generated caves. On the surface you had to do some cool teamwork, but in the underground you only had to deal with hazards and no real puzzles. Not to mention that some caves didn't make any sense at all with toys being scattered around (like a kids room) or full daylight.

Yeah, the teamwork underground was dissapointing, but the caves were cool, even if overworld was far better, also, daylight in caves was fantasy, you didn't expect it to be fully realistic, did you?

As for toys, well, apart from fantasy, I saw it in the deep direction that most of the stuff that used to be earth was burried underground somehow, trash piles, bugs, simple holes, you can see see it the way you want it. And then there was the trash that was scattered in the world, which, in placement, actually makes sense.

And if you complain about difficulty, Pikmin 1 was hard, but still manageable in less than 20 days, so it's not like the time limit made me in a huge rush or anything, actaully, if you want rush, you might remember the Submerged Castle, that was nuts.

you have a hard time believing that??? There a buisness, they think its good buisness to move this game to Wii U and thats what they are gonna do. Wii owners be damned. IMHO the faster people accept that Ninty is a buisness and not your friend the better we all will be
