Nah, that's not how it works.

The most active and accurate contributors to the GameDB over an extended period of time are approached when we need more GameDB guys.

I never understood how to add to a game database. If you tell me how, I'll start participating.

The database needs much more than adding games though, adding release dates , boxarts, banners, synopsises, screenshots, critic reviews is just as important .

What about adding consoles? There are 3 Zelda games released for the Phillips CD-i, I can't add them because there is no CD-i console.

We can't add consoles , only ioi has the ability to do that I believe.

Okay I tried to add Animal Crossing for N64 (It's not listed), but VGC said it's already in the database. So I added it under it's Japanese name Dōbutsu no Mori. So whoever reads that game, it's AC for N64. You don't have it listed.
