That (in my opinion) destroys the value of any award.

The Nintendo DS, XBox 360 and Wii have all had an amazing year for multiple reasons ... I think it is fair to say that the PSP, PS2 and PS3 did not have a particularly good year.

According to this site, the PS family won all the awards for best PS3/PSP/PS2 game. I, for one, am shocked.

That's some of the worse journalism I've ever seen. It's all true, but only in context of awards for their own systems. It's not like Drake's Fortune was the overall game of the year, only PS3 game of the year. And yes they won in all catagories, cause IGN did an award for each game type for each system. Very misleading.
