Anyway I'll explain things very quickly.

VGChartz staff themselves have stated quite often that rpgs have much higher preorder to buy ratios than most other genres. That is why Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 have such high preorders. Their first week sales in Americas won't be much higher than the preorders.

Assassins Creed is much bigger than Uncharted in Americas. Remember these are going to be initial sales, not lifetime where uncharted will be able to start catching up due to not having sequels every year. Assassins Creed 2 on the 360 outsold uncharted 2 in americas even though a sequel came out one year later and multiconsole owners could have got the game for the ps3 as well. Yes AC is much bigger than Uncharted 2 in terms of sales.

MW3 for the ps3 is tracking ahead of black ops for the xbox 360 was with 19 weeks left. Its tracking seems perfectly fine if not overtracked. Than again it has seemed like people are more likely to preorder nowadays. The only game I do agree is odd is Battlefield 3 being so high for the 360. Then again maybe all their Call of Duty bashing is getting people's attention.

Some of your points I agree with (mostly those involving MW3 and Halo: CEmake). These I do not:

- Rage beating out Resistance 3 sounds very likely to me. Resistance is not a big seller at all, particularly in America, where Resistance 2 only had a 240k opening week. The comparison plays heavily in the 360's favour: shooters, in America. Seems reasonable for it to be ahead to me.

- Skyrim (360) could certainly come close to Uncharted 3 and Revelation launch weeks in Americas. It being ahead in pre-orders at this stage isn't that shocking at all.

- "Last time I checked Uncharted was bigger than AC 2 on 360." Barely worldwide and certainly NOT in America, which is what these pre-order figures are for (Assassin's Creed 2 (360) - 1.93, Uncharted 2 (PS3) - 1.11).

- "While Uncharted 3 will be able to outsell every game this holidays except Battlefield 3 (360) and Modern Warfare 3( both versions)." No, it won't. Again, this is JUST Americas, not worldwide. Some opening week comparisons:
Uncharted 2 - 417k
Brotherhood - 572k
Oblivion - 259k
Fallout 3 (more indicative for Skyrim I imagine) - 469k
Halo 3: ODST - 1.67 million


But mainly, I think the problem is you're assuming that pre-order figures this far out are a statement of what first week figures these games are going to pull, and that's either a misrepresentation or misunderstanding on your part.

If you want to be taken seriously, you have to provide a source indicating why you think a certain console/game is under/over tracked

Belive me Uncharted has gotten a lot bigger! Uncharted 2 started off with 417k and ended up with 2.42 million pretty in 1 and a half year. That's almost 6 times greater than it's launch week. And the preorder increase from UC2 to the launch week was 188%. The biggest increase in preorders in the 2009-2010 year. Uncharted is a growing series AC isn't. 

Really scottie?  I have a proven track record on this site as being one of the most balanced posters around.  Its stimple, NA is by far Halo's biggest region, Halo CE is one of the most beloved of all shooter campaigns ever, its only $40, it comes with 7 multiplayer maps for the massive selling Halo Reach that you can ONLY get by buying Halo CEA, and it hasn't even broken the chart yet?  I see pre-order numbers daily, and have shown picture evidence of them on the site before.

The pre-order charts on Vgchartz have a proven history of not being nearly as accurate as other numbers on the site as well.  So you tell me, you honestly belive that games like Rage, Ghost Recon, and Deus Ex are outpreordering Halo in its strongest region?

Its simple the numbers aren't accurate and I stand by that statement.  So if you want to be taken seriously you won't call out members of the forum in a dissrespectful manner without something to back you up.  I love Vgchartz its by far my favorite gameing site, but the fact is their numbers are wrong sometimes, I'm not going to just blindly believe every number they put up by any means.
