It's GT5 vs Valkyria Chronicles now. I ended special round fast because no one was commenting

GT 5 cuz i love racing games

I can't choose between those 2. Best racing sim against best srpg this gen. I have been addicted to both and poured many hours in both.
I would say Valkyria chronicles is more finished, more consistent in overall quality. But then the scope of GT5 is so huge and it still gets improved.

Valkyria Chronicles. I love strategy RPG's and I'm a huge fan of the Fire emblem franchise. This is the first real successful console strategy RPG, which doesn't have sprites. When SEGA does a game right, they do it damn good. Too bad most of their games aren't like this.

The story isn't anything special, some unusual twist on WWII, but having so much of the plot revolve around Darcelens (similar to Jews in WWII), that was nice. Some of the dialoge was well written, but the game did get corney at the end (some of those mega tank boss fights were just plain stupid). However, because the gameplay is so damn fun, it deserves my vote.

What really hurt GT5 from winning (as I am a huge car nut), is the fact that only 200 cars have in car view. I can't drive outside of in car view, and the physics, sounds, and speeds of those standard cars often don't make sense. So it's a good Sim, but not as fun as VC.

@Jay - I voted the much shorter game, but I still expect GT5 to win.

Valkyria Chronicles. I play GT5 a lot more, but VC is a more complete game.

Valkyria Chronicles, one of my all-time favorites. Simulators are quite bland in my opinion.
