As of now I'm going stick with Microsoft because I haven't seen anything as extraodinary Halo MP (other than Uncharted 3) Although the Killzone series does come really close nothing can mess with Halo MP as of now. But I think by the end of this year I will probably cahnge my mind. But what do you think so far. Who makes better online games Sony or MS!

 


You also left out quite a few good online exclusive games for the PS3.

Well I'm talking about games that people actually play on just ofr the MP or has a big fanbase becuase of the MP. LBP 2, LBP and demon's souls should be updated.

it's funny the list that the TC made for ps3 are all shooters for online.... Imo the best online is xboxlive, just my opinion, plus the 360 controller is the best for shooters, only games I play online so...

Yea he forgot to list Demon's Souls, or even WKC, Modnation Racers, Wipeout HD/Fury, Dead Nation, etc. Oh and I'll take PS Move/Navi combo (closest to kb/m you'll get on consoles atm) or with sharpshooter, it blows 360 pad out the water...imo :). I say PS3 btw if we include Warhawk in that list.

microsoft doesnt make left4dead. not in the slightest. valve does.

and really they dont even make gears of war (they dont own the ip or the dev, but they do publish it, so whatever).

well my favorite online games this gen go in this order:

1) Uncharted 3 (beta)

2) Killzone 3

3) Uncharted 2

4) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

5) Call of Duty: World at War (zombies)

so being that 3 of my top five online games are sony first party ips. i will go with sony. and even thought Killzone 3 is the only one up their with dedicated servers, i love sony multiplayer games becuase so many of them have dedicated servers (i think the majority of them)

GT5 and Twisted metal are not shooters. And like i said on my last statement. The 360 exclusive lineup simply does not have varity outside of shooters (which is one of the main reasons why i dont own one anymore).

As for the controller. Yea its perfect for shooters but what about other genres like fighters and arcade style games. You cant just design an controller for one specific genre of game. Gota be more open minded.

360 has more than just shooters... also last time i checked psn had more shooters than 360.  I agree the psn controller is awesome for fighter that's why most people enjoy the psn for online fighters etc... let's be honest though the fighter genre is kinda small compared to the fps genre... about the 360 controller though it's so bad for fighters and the same can be said about the ps3 controller for fps.

Halo in it's prime no dout but imo reach was horrible, I'm really hoping 343 will surpass Bungie, seemed like Bungie kinda like stoped trying....

Microsoft makes Halo (not L4D or Gears)
Sony makes Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Warhawk, & Uncharted.

Sony wins for me!

But if you include L4D & Gears, then Microsoft wins.

Im not an expert on this, but those x box games were not maked by third parties developers? I mean, they were not created by microsoft.  So i think that sony have created better online games (sony owned studios).

Your missing some 360 games also like Crackdown 2, Fable 2&3, Forza 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo Wars, Gears of War 1. Take L4D2 off the list because MS doesn't publish it.   

I'm a Halo fanboy so my opinion is completely biased.
