I am talking about Alliance of Valiant Arms. It's F2P and although there is a shop, you can pretty much get everything in that shop but with more effort put in. There are several modes outside of TDM and Capture the flag types. The co-op is very good with multiple modes such as prison break, escort, getting on a speed boat trying to survive to a destination, etc. There is also an infection mode semi similar to Zombie Panic Source but the infected are harder to kill and they randomly infect you between 1 and 4 hits. The weapon recoil is nice and there are quite a few different armors that defend against different types of impact. 3 classes: point man-specializes in fast assault like mp5 and whatnot; rifleman-med to longer range assault rifles such as AKS 74U and the like, and finally a Sniper (self explanatory).

What i found interesting in TDM was that at certain point each team gets a boss mob that spawns with alot of hps and VERY powerful weapons (i got 1 shotted everytime). Also there is a tank escort mode where other team has to pick up a rocket launcher from a weapons cache placed throughout the level and hit the tank twice to disable it, the escort team has to repair it to keep it running. Anyways I highly suggest you guys give it a try, the graphics are pretty damn good also (if u care about that stuff), the community is VERY big (sooo many dedicated servers) and feel free to add me, I am FlippyTheHappyPenis lol. P.S. you do not need a powerful computer to run it either.

I promise this is the only time I will bump this thread for a while. It's just that this is how I feel an FPS should be done when co-op and team bases are both taken in mind, especially considering it's a free game. anyways I am out to play AVA, so add me on Steam if you wanna join me to pwn.

I will say this, the people who will appreciate this game the most are those who have played Counter-strike back in the days but with a more modern take of course. Being able to switch from handgun to sniper rifle, scope fast and whip a shot and then back to handgun within a second is something I truly missed from CS and now once again I am enjoying it (for those expert AWP users like me hehe). I tried it out and wasn't overly impressed, it did seem pretty good for F2P however. That being said, now with TF2 being F2P it really changes things...

one question, what is the download size?

I tried it long before it hit Steam. I actually played it for a short while instead of just trying it once but I didn't find it that special. That said, it wasn't bad either. I imagine it's not any worse now so it should be worth checking out if you want a free shooter.

a free to play game that capped me while downloading because i didn't notice by internet provider haven't upgraded me to 200GB yet, so i have to live with 64kbps download speeds for an forever long week when i have so much things i want to get done

Apparently Infection mode was recently added with the last patch so I assume you haven't tried that hehe. I do enjoy the co-op in the prison area. The bots in demolition are very OP though, their headshots are too on point at times lol. Personally I enjoyed so far more than MW2 and Black Ops. So far at Sgt. rank and the Remington is nice in Cold Case map.
