That is why it is a beta. I hate the way some people expect a beta to be a perfect finished game. Some of the betas I get with SCEE would make people like you cry. To be honest they shouldn't have opened the UC3 beta until it was time for it to just be a demo. Would have been better to stick with their usual beta testers than let normal gamers in too soon. They also gave me nowhere to give direct feedback like most other betas. Kind of annoying. They receive little useful feedback this way compared to the conventional way.

EDIT: Is there even an NDA with UC3? I need to find out if my NDA still applies since I didn't get it through Infamous or PSN+.

Does anyone else think that the Uncharted 3 beta will have more players than the Halo Reach or Gears 3 beta due to ps plus being free. I expect huge increase in sales over the past few weeks. This could be the first Sony game to sell over a million in the Americas in a week if we see big preorder increases and positive reviews once the game is out.

I think this thread is a bit too early for compaisons to be made. This thread should have come out around the end of U3's beta to properly compare graphics/bugs. Having said that there is clearly a lot more work needed to be done on U3 than was needed on GeOW3. Will be interested to see how they compare.

That is very true but Gears of War 3 is already done or very close to being done when Uncharted 3 is not as close to being finshed as Gears of War 3

For people that are saying that Gears 3 wasnt a beta... just check the forums for it, the game was pretty bugged so it was indeed a beta. They clearly have a lot of work to do before releasing the game..

And now that I have played the beta of uncharted 3, I think i that Gears 3 is just better in the MP area, that doesnt mean i wont give it a chance, still i have always thought of uncharted as a single player game, what impressed me was that the graphics didnt look that much better, I might think that gears 3 looks better than uncharted 3 from what i have played on both.

I can't say much about the GOW3 beta but the U3 is amazing. I love the customization, perks, kickbacks and power play. All of it feels like an improvement. There are a few things that need tweaking and maybe a bit of balancing. The most exciting part for me is the co-op. Me and my lil bro are having a blast.

Feh! having problems with my posts.
@dsage - Thats what i mean. You cant compare a game that has finished its beta (Gears 3) with a game thats just started its beta. Either compare finished products (retail game) or games at a stage in their beta (i.e. just near finish when all bugs have been worked out). This may be tricky in terms of gears 3 but we can compare screenshots (graphics) cant we?
