Its going to be so weird seeing Wii sell 40,000 again in Japan, but hey, Dragon Quest is Dragon Quest. I think this bodes well for the Dragon Quest X releasing by Golden Week 2012 - Wii is going to be nearly dead in Japan by the end of 2012, as opposed to the coma its in at the moment.

Also, this should do more than 100,000 day one - this probably a 500k or more week one, it theoretically could be Wii's biggest Japanese game of the year in all honesty. Zelda isn't huge in Japan anymore, its not a million seller. Wii Play Motion / Rhythm Heaven / Kirby are really the only other potentially huge games coming this year.

Mario Party 9, Fortune Street and Mario & Sonic should be fairly big too, bigger even than Rythm Heaven IMO.

would like to see this happen but can't see it happening. Mario Collection last year did 300K. Don't think DQ collection would sell more than that in week 1.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
I can't wait for Tokyo Game Show. I'm expecting a lot on all consoles, even the Wii and 360.

For fans it will be nice for sure.
