It is really annoying that the wii has ports and spin offs rather that the main series like  soul calibur legends which was an spin off  and the ps3 and the 360 are going to get soul calibur IV also why wasn't there a call of duty 4 version for  the wii,another thing why shouldn't capcom make resident evil 5 for the wii if resident evil 4 wii edition sold 1 million copies.Maybe they could do what capcom did and create new series  for the wii example:Zack and Wiki.

But some developpers take it serious like Capcom still the majority of the developpers will still think:

Wii party game = easy money!!

On topic:

We might see some main franchises jump from playstation to wii, as monster hunter did.

They obviously didn't expect the Wii to be such a succsess. It takes a long time to develop games, so now that the devs see the Wii's potential, we will see less ports and spinoffs in the future. All of these lazy PS2 games that have been released recently is the products of the hesitant developers that began working on these games"pre-Wii". Although there are SOME good third party titles now, there will be much more third party support with quality in the future, I am sure.

When 360 and PS3 start breaking them. That could be the sad truth, as they may only use Wii as a cash in for a very long time.
