I have'nt played the game, but I personally think it deserves these scores. The reason being,is that it was in development for years and years and they made it seem like it was the second coming of jesus are somthing, and the game that they released, seems to be filled with nothing but disapointment. I kind of think, that this happens to all games in the same situation.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

0/10 is a joke review of course, but I don't think the Metascore is wrong.

5.5/10 for me. Maaaaybe 6.0.....

I'd rate it higher than most (7.5-8/10). It's good old-school fun and better than a lot of shooters out today. Maybe not the cream of the crop, but it does feel like it should have been released at the beginning of the gen. If it had, it'd probably stand out as one of the best titles of its year. As it is, I think reviewers were expecting too much from the title due to the development time.
