Of course, and I really enjoyed Eternal Sonata on my Xbox 360, which I consider the best next-gen J-RPGs and which is at this moment an 360 exclusive, and I even agree with you that Folklore isn’t an real rpg.

But mrstickball was talking about this whole gen and we have still four to six years to go, and he’s already talking like if it is fact. With the J-rpg’s that have been confirmed for the PS3, the J-RPGs that are still on the air, and the bad-sales of Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata I wonder how he can make such a statement.

6 or so months ago I was convinced I'd get the PS3 because I thought it was going to get MANY more RPGs than the Xbox 360. Then 2 months ago I actually gave it some thought, opened my eyes, and saw the quantity of JRPGs that the 360 was getting and is getting. In fact, I was supposed to buy an Xbox 360 in the U.S.A. when I went there in very late November, but due to expanding my already-owned consoles (Wii, DS, even PS2 and GCN) and buying a couple of accessories for them AND a very expensive watch, I didn't have enough money to buy the 360. But by the end of 2008 I should have it. Now with Tales of Vesperia just an inch of being officially confirmed, the deal is more than sealed.

By the way, something really WEIRD taken from the Tales of Vesperia page on the Tales Channel...:

I agree there's no "winner" (yet) and that the PS3 has good RPG's on the horizon. Maybe mrS was a bit harsh, but I think he meant to answer in the same way the PSfanboys/girls attacked "his" 360. Personally I don't care, as long as good RPG's come out, but as a totally unbiased (PS3 or 360) Wii gamer I must give MS credit for what they are doing.

Bad sales numbers can become a burden, but Microsoft has deep pockets and they seem determined to make the game library on 360 a lot broader than on Xbox.
