Interesting move, lets see how it plays out first.

I am actually excited for this considering that the more they push the govt the more likely they WILL find the people responsible and hopefully take them to their next guantanamo bay location. Oh this is an answer to a prayer. Perhaps I can also hope for some lulsec members to.....dissapear. Go US government!!!

I don't want to watch this play out like a night at the movies. I come here to propose. More specifically, I propose solutions.

Solution:

1. Cyber warfare AKA hacking and any online activity associated with gaining access to another individual's online account(s) without consent is defined as an act of war on "insert country."

2. Henceforth, any individual who engages in cyber warfare is for all intents and purposes subjected to Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, 75 U.N.T.S. 135.

3. Due to the above, undisclosed prisons in Eastern Europe, Guantanamo Bay, and other undisclosed locations are legal and suitable for detainment and treatment of individuals who have committed actions of cyber warfare.

4. Due to the above, individuals, regardless of state of origin, are to be treated under Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, 75 U.N.T.S. 135, not the US Constitution or any other state's constitution.

The ground rules are set. If you engage in any cyber warfare activity, then expect at any given time, including the dead of night/day, when you are asleep to be accosted and forcibly detained by a group of individuals using methods similar or to a lesser extent of US Navy Seal Team 6 or the FBI.

You, the hacker, are an enemy of the state. By engaging in cyber warfare you forfeit the rights guaranteed to you by the US Constitution or the Constitution of the state in which you reside. You will be pursued to the ends of the Earth. You will be made an example of to all others who may follow in your ways.

It's not wise to piss off the U.S. Government....they WILL fuck your shit up.

Man since I'm all for the drug war and against the gangs this is a major blow. Heck now the gangs can track down the law enforcement officers one by one and kill them. This is horrible if even one officer and/or his/her family get killed then the hacker responsable deserves second degree murder charges and to be put in prison for life.

This is not just for the Lulz anymore this is directly putting peoples lives in jeopredy. I hope the US Government tracks these hackers down one by one and puts them away for a long time. This is worse then what the cyber terrorists Wikileaks did. I hope they all rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

Hopefully they go deep enough to piss off the American security forces. Just so the latter ones find them out, and fuck them up.

Eventually, someone or groups of people will die because of LulzSec. Their stupidity knows no bounds.

Counterproductive politically as most brands of terrorism, especially since LulzSec doesn't really represent any groups with any bartering power in this case. While crowdsourcing can be effective in certain internet efforts, trying to move those into creating political change will only be counterproductive.
