versus 13 was announced in 2005, so its been 6 years believe it or not :P

well I'm 19 and I've been waiting for FFXIII VS as well so that a good chuck of my life, nearly a third
waited 7 years for golden sun 3

I'm very skeptical of the title for the moment, i've seen maybe 30 secs of gameplay in 6 years. so i'm not even interested in it anymore, i dont have faith in Sqaure since they have taken very long to develop games that have had a very mixed reception for the last few years.

i have been waiting for another FF12 type project. but again thats been 6 years. if not more. and again Sqaure havent delivered with their most recent games. so i'm skeptical a new title will emerge from them soon, if so is it even worth waiting for?? i'm not sure....

Anyways... What if they decide to make Versus XIII a PS4 launch title... considering how long it's taking them to finish it?, it'll probably be ready for 2013 and PS4 will be close to be released by then.

Sorry, I didn't see what you posted before because the thread was F'd up :P yeah, that's what I was wondering... what if it's released on PS4? xD well... at least it'll have better graphics... but I won't buy a PS4 at launch... I'll wait 2 or 3 years after its release date to get one so that'll suck... my wait will be extended a very long time xD

I don't want to get a system at launch because I'll spend years waiting for the good games to be released :P I'd rather buy it when there are at least 10 games I'm interested in for that system... besides, I'll be immune to the launch problems/high failure rates and I'll get the same console for a cheaper price with cheaper games :P

But then they would HAVE to update the engine, this being Square Enix, and that will take them another 6 years easy... afterall this is Square Enix :|

I don't know... maybe they'll just make it run at 1080p instead of 720p and that's it :P as if it was some sort of PS2 HD collection... maybe they'll release the game on both PS3 and PS4...

Bleh... this is just speculation that won't lead us anywhere, we'll just have to wait and see what happens :P

taken the fact about how long it has been in production, it could very well be the first multi bluray disc game. its possible, not impossible.

yeah, I really wish they'd stop announcing stuff so quickly in this day and age. I'd rather be surprised and play it soon after than pine for vaporware that may never come out.
